Meet Donovan
Donovan Woodberry lives by three words: tragedy to triumph. It is not a slogan. It is how he moves, taking whatever the moment breaks and building something the community can stand on.
A community builder, entrepreneur, and nonprofit leader, Donovan is the founder of MelaninCon, a national platform advancing Black entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic empowerment. He is also founder and executive director of A Celebration of Us, Inc., a nonprofit investing in Black communities through entrepreneurship, education, mental health, and direct service.
Donovan is also the publisher of The Posh Standard Magazine, where he amplifies culture, entrepreneurship, and Black excellence. His focus stays the same across everything he touches: building platforms where Black stories, businesses, and ideas are positioned to thrive. His leadership has earned an official commendation from the Mayor of the District of Columbia for his contributions to community building and economic empowerment
